I used this one

Dodge RAM 2" Leveling Lift Kits by Hell Bent Steel

I used it for two main reasons:

1. Price.

2. All steel design. I'm not sure that I trust the polyurethane spacers to hold up over time.

I had no problems installing these spacers on my '01 2500. They fit right, came with new shock tower nuts, and OK directions. They also processed and shipped my order quickly.

I second the Kore Recon. It did what it promised to do! I really like the ride vs the OEM ride. The OEM suspension sucked. I now have changed the bed to a Utility bed and I'm very happy with the ride quality over all. Good Luck.

Has anyone experienced the death wobble AFTER they installed the spacers? I would'nt think this was enough change to make it happen. I was in the impression that death wobble was from worn parts.

I've experienced the DEATHWOBBLE before and lemme tell you, its FKVCKN SCARY!!!

However, Im not sure which set-up I was running @ the time, possibly the one I have on my Sig...

Kore HP Leveling Kit. So far I love it. It sure does ride better than than stock springs with Bilstien yellows.

We will see after I install the Road Armor Bumper. I finally have a tracking number and they should arrive on 3. 2. 09. They were ordered on 12. 10. 08 and my credit cared was charged then, too.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ROAD ARMOR! THEIR SERVICE SUCKS!

I have a 2001 2500 short box 2-wheel drive and the rear sits up way too high. Can you explain your response that states "cut 2" out of the rear spacers. I either want to cheaply level out the truck. Lift the front via a spacer?? or some how lower the rear. The rear(lowering)would be nicer for ease of getting into the bed. It wouldn't be a problem for towing as it is too high anyway and my 24' travel trailer doesn't pull it down enough to matter. Thanks everyone in advance.

I wanted the KORE or lorenz
timing was the key.
went with the skyjacker leveling springs replaced the PUCKS I hated those pucks. . and replaced the shocks with rancho 9000 adjustable. Not good as Kore or lorenz i know but what A HUGE difference in front end comfort huge huge difference. very sastified.

Rear springs and lowering truck

Well, interestingly enough I was able to only remove one 1" spacer from between the axles base plate and the bottom of the lower spring. The bottom of the spacer and the bottom of the spring both have a nubbin sticking out of it that sets in a detent in the axle base plate. The other 1" spacer is located between the helper/overload spring and the top of the major leaf spring pack. Only problem is that this spacer has a hole in the center to accomodate the stud and nut that are sticking up from the top of the lower spring pack(holds the spring pack together) and therefore you cannot set the overload spring downd onto the leaf spring pack without the spacer in place. Ugghhhhh.

So my truck is now 1" lower in the rear which is a bit better BUT it would have been PERFECT with the other 1" removed. It would have been just SLIGHTLY higher in the rear than the front.

At this point I need to find a way to raise the front end 1" to even it out. This is actually a better plan since I do have a front hitch on the truck for hauling the bikes while towing and spotting the trailer in tight spots.

Anybody know of a way to raise the front of a TWO WHEEL DRIVE 1"?????

Thanks, Eric

So far the only thing that would work is the 1/2 cord of wood! LOL. Is anyone paying attention? I HAVE A 2-WHEEL DRIVE, Count 'em, 2 WHEEL DRIVE Ram. NOT A 4X4.

Anyone seen a front leveling kit for a 2 wheel drive?????
