TY Bro, I'm talking Fast or Fuellab type lift pump. You can see my photo & know why I don't need in tank version.

We ran the big Fass pump on Joe’s pulling truck years ago. It was over 1K horse, P-pump 12-Valve. I believe he got it from Haisley’s or at least they recommended it. I can’t remember which one it was. We never had a problem with it, PLENTY of pressure and flow.

My first airdog lived 11 years and 11 months. The pump bearings went and it blew fuses every 5 seconds. I only replaced the filters twice in that time which is a no no. I never ran the truck under 1/4 tank and 95% of the time added diesel slick. I had one of the quick connects leak when it was new and the fuse blow during a torrential downpour. Not bad for almost 12 years.

My oem lift pump was still good when I replaced it with about 250k.

High-flow mechanical lift pumps flow around 95 gph and are good for about 750 hp. Don't waste your money on one, though. They merely take a stock lift pump and replace the return spring with a Comp Cams 973-1 valve spring. Taked about 2 minutes and costs around $10.

If you need more flow than that, you'll need to go with an electric fuel pump. Good luck!

after years of replacing various stock style pumps,i can tell you one thing, get the DECC pump made for cummins, cheap on ebay, yes it's made in china,so is the oem cummins one, which sucks by the way, tried it,lasted 6 months, and had the small piston inside, the DECC has been the best,it's been on for 6 years now, andi run every kind of weird alternate fuel type you can imagine,
