I have the same problem with heated seat and mounting gages,I am going with an airbox, and the next edge box when they come out with one that doesent just raise fuel pressure. gage wise i'm going with egt,and boost. maybe fuel pres if that becomes an issue with o3s. also looking for switches for in between the heated seat switch,no luck finding one yet. mike

What I plan on doing with mine is this. On my truck I have the two seat heat switches with a small cubby hole in-between them in the bottom of the three DIN places of the console. I will probably cut out the cubby hole and fit two 2-1/16" gauges in there. I'll have to make an offset wedge to aim the gauges up and to-wards the driver since they are mounted so low. If I get a third gauge I'm not sure where I'll mount it.

One other thought occurred to me and that's if I get an aftermarket radio head unit. I could then mount the stereo head unit in the very bottom DIN placement (where the seat heat is now) and then that would leave room for 3 larger 2-5/8" gauges up where the stock radio was.

Boy I can't wait to cut my expensive truck up. :D

All in the name of performance...

Vaughn,

I talked to the "big man" at Di Pricol last week, and they are coming out with a new pyro that does not have the "horseshoe". They are shipping them today. He also told me that they will have a turquoise light that matches the lighting of the current ('03) Dodge trucks. Call Ken Jones at Diesel performance to confirm 801-791-2328.

Sweeeeet!!!

Thanks for the info Fireman. I'm going to pass this on to Dave Meheen at DPP.

Vaughn,

No problem, I've been waiting on these gauges since Dec. When I called Di Pricol acouple of weeks ago I found out that they had had a little problem manufacturing the new pyro, and that had been the hold up. I can't wait to see these, Ken says they look really good. I've kind of kept it under my hat untill now. Ken must have got alot of calls yesterday, 'cause I tried calling and couldn't reach him. I'm not happy with the mounting options for the '03s (or the lack of them) I guess I'm going to go with the A post, I think with some work I can make I look decent.

I called yesterday, they said there was a hold up in getting the parts from India due to this whole threat of war BS holding up air shipments. Anyway the gentleman at DD of Utah said check this friday.

those gauges look like they will match perfectally. but, what does the pyro look like? the picture looks like it is showing 0-60boost, 0-30FP, and trans temp... i'd also like to see a 0-35 or 0-40 boost gauge. i don't think my future cummins will ever see over 40psi boost

just talked to ken again, said gages were in except for pyro, that should be on mon. I will call and get mine thenOo.

I'm dissappointed about the looks of the pyro. I was hoping they would move the mechanism internal so the pyro would look EXACTLY like the other gauges. The horseshoe center may be gone but that's one mighty big center stud.

I haven't got a call yet, better do that tomorrow. Oh well any pyro is better than what i have now. Too bad that its not exactly right like the others.

Are lift pumps still an issue with the new trucks? Is fuel pressure really something that is necessary to monitor?

Anyone have the SRT-10 pillar mount? Is it better looking and less work than using an aftermarket unit?

fuel pressure is still a good idea to monitor... and many have the srt-10 a pillar for a single gauge mount [myself included] i don't know about better looking or less work, but it is a direct bolt on factory replacment piece... mine fit perfectally
