Competition Best 1/4 mile times?

Competition Scheid Pull Rules: Secret.

I thought about a B1, DD3's, EZ comp, and a fuel box, question is what would i have to do to the auto to make it hold. Thanks for the help:)

my transmission only has 20,000 can i get by with a valve body and a good convertor. Also what kind of power would u expect with the comp, dd#3, and the b1

dlange--that's what I did to my transmission 2yrs ago and it's held up--although I think most would say that I'm lucky--I don't go around beatin' my truck doing burnouts and high boost launches which will turn the auto into a slush box in a hurry, unless you do more to it---my transmission upgrades came from DTT--you can't get what I have as they don't sell it anymore, but what they do have will do you right---the B1 is a very good turbo for high hp trucks, it will get you down the track and you'll be competitive---the setup you are talking about is a good combo--the next step up in power will start to disentegrate parts on the truck sooner or later... but it sure is fun..... chris

c- thanks 4 the help:) how much power do u think that combo would have. And with the auto, what is the best way to shift? Just lock out the od and go? Sorry about all the questions, but hey, you are the ones that got me addicted to this pulln' I blame you :D haha Id rather be cummin than strokn"

Well,

First thing Get an Auto transmission that is tough!

Several are offered, I personally have an ATS which offers the Triplelok torque Converter (nothing short of awesome).

Gauges, EGT and boost.

Then your going to need POWER!!

Go with a major fueling box (with timing advancement, so you can smoke for the show).

I suggest the Edge Comp.

Then some BIG injectors,

Like DD supermentals, ATS 30's, BD5's

You also need a turbo, Call Piers for an HX40.

And of course someone who can pull you home on a trailer.

dlange--put the auto in D with o/d locked out(off)--use 4lo--with 4hi you can break the output shaft---you'll have very good power with the DDIII,EDGE Comp(EDGE Race Comp is better) and the B1---to go up in power you will need bigger injectors-the BD5's or 8's would be my choice, but you'll get more smoke for everyday driving with the bigger injectors---chris

Hey guys, I have had my truck for two years now and with 55,000 miles on it I have yet to touch the transmission. The point of this is my truck is not only a daily driver, but it has made several trips over Mount Eagle with 18,000lbs tied to it on a gooseneck, not only that but it gets hooked to a sled whenever I get the chance does this mean that I am lucky or got the good one.
