best place for trans temp guage?

Buddy likes the steering post two guage for the EGT and Boost. Where can we mount the auto temp guage w/o going to the pillar? Post pictures, if anyone has any. thanks, Doc

How about in the dash just below the heater controls? (Don't have a pic handy at the moment).

Gauge cup under the dash, gauge cup in the ash tray, steering column mount, etc.

Vendor likes pillar mount.

Stopped by dealer for guages today and asked about mounting the trans guage on the dash. He is of the opinion that the pillar is good for the one guage and looks great. What do you guys think? Thanks, Doc
