I'm going to have to leave my truck unattended for about three weeks. It won't be in a secured area, ie... not fenced. Not a high crime area by any stretch, but I'd still like to disable it so it is extremely difficult to start and drive away. I realize a determined thief will still get it if they want it but hopefully i can slow them down. Any suggestions beyond disconnecting the batteries? I don't have time for anything terribly complicated.

Thanks, Duane

I think there was something back awhile ago that if you leave your fuel canister drain open, it will not start, but it will leak fuel everywhere...

Or you could just unplug your tst injector harness. The truck will not start if you do that.

The opposite of security is convenience. If you really want your truck to be secure, pull the Cummins and stick a Powerstroke in there. Your truck will be waiting for you when you get back, guaranteed. :-laf

I just happen to have a spare powerstroke laying around from my sons wrecked Ford. But I don't want the Dodge to develop an identity problem.

Thanks for the replies, I'll probably pull the relays.
