Better After Market Head Bolts???

Bettter After Market Head Bolts???

Does any one know if ARP or SPS make a better head bolt than stock for our 12 valves?

Not sure who makes them but it cant be too hard to figure it out. ARP comes to mind and I like their products.

Let me know if you find out anything.

I know I'm comparing kiwi fruit to watermelons, but when it comes to Chrysler's 2. 2/2. 5L Turbo I, II, III (and NA... . ) engines... . the Mopar Performance head gasket and head bolts seem to last the longest when operated spiritedly.....

Cummins may have cornered the market on head bolts... . but studs are a whole 'nother beast... .



Just o-ring the head/block... .

Studs sound cool but... .



how you gonna get the head off the motor w/studs.



If you ever needed to pull the head you'd have to remove the studs or yank the engine.



I think the bolts are the best answer for the application here.

Just cut out that little part of the cowl..... oxy-acetylene should do it.
