Well I finally made it out to the track. Once I got the new tires on (1 hour e. t.
) I made my way to the staging lanes. I want to say it was easier learning to drive a vehicle then learning how to race an automatic, manually shifting it.
But I started getting the hang of it and ended the evening with a 13. 04 @ 102 mph. 60' was 1. 80. Last two runs were within . 08 time and . 01 speed. So the consistency will come around. The mph has suffered, so I thought immediately that I have lost some hp, but I also am running 30" tires now rather than 35" so wouldn't that make a difference also? So now the goal is to get 12's solid then we'll keep working on it! Not bad for 4 runs I don't think.
Special thanks to JBrookshire and his brother for helping me with putting the 35"ers back on!
