Installing cab clearance lights while the windshield is out

My 2014 is a big step forward from my 2004, except I see that Dodge still hasn't resolved the crappy low beam head lamp performance. I've got HID's for the high beams and the fog lamps, and plan to install a 20" LED in the bumper opening, but the projector low beam in my opinion in pretty weak and yellowish. I do a lot of dark highway driving and most of the time brights aren't usable because of traffic, but the low beams are inadequate. Anybody know a way to upgrade them?

I'd like to know as well. I have a 20" light bar in the bumper and it is awesome but when you turn them off it's like you have no lights at all! Are there durability issues with the HID lights still? I'd like to do that conversion because I like the "white" lighting the the led light bar gives off.

I've used Beamers kits for the last few trucks I've owned and never had an issue with bulbs or ballasts. You just have to drive with your lights on all the time, they don't like the lower voltages used for daytime running lights.

Beamers website is lousy, but I was able to get a Custom Truck Parts catalog from work and they have a kit for the 9012 bulb. From what I can tell, the 9012 is the same as the 9006 except it has a 90' connector. Things are about to get brighter :)

I went to autozone and matched the bulb with the top of the line white lite they were in a plastic case and cost about $60 and put out a much whiter and brigjtwr lite.
