she's kaput--don't make no rhyme or reason

I do have a top secret filter, but it's after the regulator and when I put it in I didn't have to adjust the pressure, but that may be cuz it's a 2 micron filter---anyway--she's fried and there's only a few things it can be:
1) it can't handle diesel---
2) you need a -10 supply---
3) you need a bottom feed out of the tank so it's under constant pressure
4) it's mounted to far from the pick up(50" counting hose and sending unit depth)
5) it ain't made for street use as advertised
6) regulator supplied isn't up to par for the pump
7) i got pos pump
so guys I'd hold off on buying this pump---
I put the Holley 815 on and with my power upgrades and running it through the regulator it is definitely not the pump to get either--
We know the Mallory has lasted for a year or more so this may be my next pump--the Summit is still to new to get a reading on as is the Carter---good luck--and I'll keep ya posted if something comes up----chris
