Was wondering if anyone could tell me at what output pressure range this turbo is most efficient. Also a top end maximum safe pressure for this turbo.
The reason I'm asking is this winter I built a twin turbo setup on my 03. I've put enough miles on the new turbos now I'm starting to turn the fueling up.
This is what I have, hx35 hybrid on top with an external wastegate, this is feeding a bht3b with the 26 cm exhaust housing. Stock injectors, Edge EZ stacked with TST PMCR. Plus all the other stuff needed to support the power increase.
The highest I've had the the TST box so far is 5-5 and my 35 lb boost gage I had connected to the bht3b outlet was max'ed- I let up right now. It surprized me so much I never did see what the total boost was. I switched the line over to the 60lb gage I was using for total boost and ordered a 100 lb gage for the total boost. So the truck will sit till I get the gage.
Any help or ideas will be appreciated.
