Reese Titan V for sale

Fleetwood and Thor???

That was the line on a commercial I saw on TV. Can't recall the brand name but it was a big trailer. I think they are trying to get people's bacon. I think they are full of bloney. Has anyone had experience, or an opinion with a short or long bed tow vehicle to validate this stuff?

I hear you on that one, some guys will try anything to boost sales.

My friend has a short bed 2500 Dodge everything the same (even color) as mine except mine is 3500 long bed. We get the same fuel mileage.

Ops, I forgot I have the cummins power and nude girl on mine. Maybe she boosted my mileage. ;)

okie,I don't know what you saw on tv but check out the Titanium

by Glendale RV . They are located in Canada. These RV s are worth a second glance. They claim a 10% fuel savings. If anyone knows anything negative please let me know before I drop 35K on one.

Fuel economy

If you could put the hitch right up next to the cab and keep all that air from going through the bed and under the trailer it might work. It's kinda like putting big tires on the back so you'll be going down hill all the time. bg

That's in fact what they do. Less wind resistance by their design. 10%, thats not all that hard. I get about 12 MPG when towing a #10,000 billboard like fiver. I could proabably get 13. 2 with a little aerodynamic efficiency. Wing could do the samething. Here is a picture of one of their models. I think the could get an additional 1 mpg out of their design... ... maybe. It will help.

I thought you ment any 5th wheel, You didn't state you were looking at the titanium.

I had a good look at one of them rigs last summer and just by design alone I think it could give any truck a 10% saveings in fuel mileage. They are very aerodynamically designed on the front end from top to bottom and especially side to side. They are shaped like a inverted V on the front from side to side, very aerodynamic.
