Yeah; I can slip it longer. That last pull I just messed it up. Looks like we'll know what broke Saturday morning; soonest we can get it on a lift (hopefully). After talking to just about everyone I can think of I'm thinking clutch teeth and/or input shaft. Probably need to replace both regardless -- along with the flywheel. Gotta say I'm extremely happy with this clutch and SBC's service. It's not exactly treated like a grocery getter and they're really fair with the rebuild costs. But still just speculating.

If you watch that pull at Stoneboro I think that was one we got a nice roll-out before really lighting it up. I need to get this truck back to the point we can do that again.

most videos i've seen of guys running your type setup slip them a little longer and get a smoother engagement. your video it looks like you just dump it completely and it doesnt ever slip at all. this is what makes me nervous about my first pull. i dont wanna dump it too early and break something since im not used to the slipping

big MAK---I'd say you need to slip that clutch more than you're doing in any of these videos--I didn't see the vid of

Stonesboro, but it sounds like you know what to do---anyway it's easier on parts and I think you'll pull further also---on another note have you ever been to King's Lake???? I grew up there... ... ..... chris

Mark, you could always leave the line about 4800-5000K and just DUMP the clutch... ..... like Gene did @ Muncie a few years back. Video of that is totally AWESOME ! I couldnt believe it held together.

4200 DD Cerarmic Buttons. May be upgrading to steel... will have to see what it looks like when we have it apart.

Oh. . I WILL be rolling it out a bit before giving it that much throttle from here on out. That "BANG" will be in my head a while!
