About a month ago I got the infamous P0216 code so I figured it was injection pump time.
In anticipation of this project I had downloaded the VP44 install videos that Diesel-Dan made. I highly recommend these videos to anyone who is thinking about tackling this job on their own. A big thanks to Diesel-Dan for taking the time to make these videos, you saved me a bunch of money.
Everything went smooth during the install. The only problem I had was getting the rear fuel line loose from the head. No way was that fitting torqued at 28 ft. lbs. . I think the same gorilla that Dodge hired to install my original oil filter was also tightening my fuel lines!
For anyone who is interested in these videos here is the link, post #31.
