There are billet input, intermediate, output shafts and drums available for the 47/RH/RE and I believe they will fit the 47/46RH will interchange. There a couple of flavors of billet material available also.
All the major builders offer the billet option and they can be bought at different HiPo places also.
Output shafts are interchangeable on the 46RH and 47RH, but not with the 47RE, right? I think the RH's have the longer shaft. I've found a few places that have the 47RE output shafts, but none for the RH trannies.
This is for the trans in my p-pump'd '93 - a 46RH. And yes, it will need billet shafts .
Yes the RE shafts are shorter, no governor as it is electronically controlled. The others are the same I believe. I would just call one of the big 4 and see what they have.
I am saving my nickels and dimes for the trans rebuild with billets. I need to quit doing 10 psi launches or I will be getting them sooner than I want.
