I am not trying to step on anyones toes with this. I knew from looking at the posts on here that I could get an honest answer. I realize alot of time goes into R & D. I also figure that if I can make these plates they are readily availale for people in my area. We dont have any diesel performance shops locally. As far as the stainless idea I will give it a try. I will also try a hardend steel also. I dont want to make anyone on here upset this website has a great deal of info and the last thing I want to do is **** somebody off that could help me out later. I will also contact Piers for a dealer account to set up so I can supply my customers with the great products you all rave about. Again I apologize to anyone I upset.

I saw his aluminum fuel plates on E-Bay. I said to myself NO WAY. These plates CANT last nearly as long as a steel plate. I don't think oxidization will play a roll. Steel rubbing on aluminum WILL. 7075 is good stuff and easy to machine. It's just not meant for this application (fuel plate). I could give a couple plates to my friend who is a master machinist. He could program a Mazak and wip me out as many as I want. WHY. I'm not the one who has all that R&D time into fuel curves and different profiles. I say,Yes do it for your self. Don't go trying to sell someone elses hard work.

Well with all the input I received I will no longer make these plates. I appreciate the input and thats why I posted it here.

i wouldnt stop making them, why not try some new cuts? its fun to try new things and maybe you could find one thats not out there that would be awsome. who knows, there could be that special plate that hasnt been discovered yet.
