With the various billet, chrome and powder coat treatments often found in engine bays, how about billet accessory drives? One for the fan, alternator, idler pulley, maybe the AC compressor? I have no idea how expensive/involved it is to make these pieces but if the accessory drives are pretty similar throughout most of the years someone could produce these in reasonable enough bulk to be somewhat affordable. Anyone looked into it?

Anyone with some skill on a lathe should be able to make them, I wish I had a lathe, I'd have a set already!

I'm assuming that when you say billet you are talking about aluminum, correct? Would aluminum pullies hold up well to the wear from the belts. Maybe stainless steel would be a better alternative if not too cost prohibitive.

I'm gonna check with the material guy, I wouldn't think that 6061 would hold up so I will be looking into a better material. Should know material and machining cost within the next couple days.
