Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Billet shafts?

I have a Goerend 3 disk trans. Do I need billet shafts if I installed an exhaust brake?

I would not run a heavy tripple disc with out a billet input and a good flexplate.

I am not a transmission expert but most state it is not necessary unless you are towing, pulling, or racing with high horsepower. I would not spend the money and not upgrade the input shaft, especially with a triple disk converter. I would hate to be stuck in the mud and break the input shaft while rocking it out. My transmission shifts pretty hard and I would think that would be hard on the shaft as well.

The EB will be less stress on the input shaft than accelerating so if it works now you should be fine.
