I bit the bullet and bought the NV5600/SBC CON-OFE upgrade (from my NV4500) from Quad 4x4 in Montana. It came in yesterday. MAN!! What a BRUTE. It is huge. I am thinking I will get a REAL transmission jack and install myself. But, I have a question. I think this is a good time to replace the rear main seal. What is involved here. Does it just pull out?? Will I need to fabricate a seal driver to re-install or will a large socket work. Any info up-front about this clutch/trans job is greatly appreciateted!
