I didn't want to start another blend door thread, so I thought I would just post my question here. I have air out of all vent positions on my '07 but no control over the temperature. It is stuck on cold. Does this sound like a blend door problem or control problem?

If I'm not mistaken, the door you want is located above the blower motor. If the 07 is like my 03, you remove three screws on the blower motor (look upward from passenger footwell), drop the blower and use a flash light to look up at the door - it's about a foot up deep behind the glove box. You should be able to see it move (or try to). If it's broken then you will likely find a little piece of plastic inside the squirrel cage fan of the blower when you drop it. DONT try to move the door by hand, it will easily snap!

Thanks. I'll take a look in there this week.

I've been on the road with that thing since 5:00 AM this morning and just drove down along the lakes through the rain in Erie. I didn't realize how cold in could get in the cab of that truck in June when you have to run the defrosters. :-laf

I believe that door is the recirc door.

Just curious if anyone has done the complete removal/reinstall dash to fix the HVAC problems and ended up with squeaks, or other noise not previously heard. My friend took their rig to the dealer, spent nearly 2grand with squeak, took back, got back and still squeaks. I road in it and it is faint but after a while it is annoying.

The dealer fixed my mode door and I ended up with a buzz that can be heard at idle. I've dug into it as much as I'm going to trying to find it. I do know that if I grab the bottom of the plenum assembly on the passenger side and pull it towards me, it stops.

Been studying all the posts here and elsewhere I can find on this repair/modify OEM topic and am convinced, I will be the only one touching my truck as long as I am physically, financially and mentally capable. I suspect the mentally part will diminish first though. .
