sounds more and more like input shaft. oil pressure thing has me, as some might say, cornfused!
Input and output shafts were fine, rest of transmission toast.
It sounds like it is just the transmission. Maybe I was a bit "cornfused" on the pressure gauge. They have the transmission out, and are going to start the motor this afternoon. The oil was drained, and looks fine. No metal or fuel, oil level was fine. Might have just been my nerves causing me to see things. But, I will know for sure by tomorrow.
But, I do know it is getting a new "built" BD Power transmission, TC and VB w warranty. I am passing on the billet shaft for now, as I am seriously considering selling the truck once the transmission is completed. I am about wore out on this rig, and my wife is ready to KILL ME! I am looking at either a Dodge RT (Hemi) wagon, or the Dodge 1500 Rumble Bee 4x4.
As far as the truck, this transmission ordeal is the only problem I have had with it. Why do I want to sell her? I am just ready for a change, something a bit smaller. I really like the idea of going back to a car, now that rear wheel drive is back in something other then a Crown Vic.
Anyone interested in my Red BEAST, PM me and make an offer, serious buyers only. I have to many parts to list, more then what my sig says, they would not all fit, well over $15 grand. All that I can say, is that it is one Very Fast truck. And will be in tip top shape after the transmission install. And nothing has been mickey moused, install wise, on ANY of the go fast components. Oh, it has roughly 26,000 miles on her, was bought new by me, and has a clear title. And I have all of the original parts. Gets 16 mpg.
