I have only recently started using my block heater, works well.
I noticed when I turn the key on to start my truck while the using the block heater, my grid heater does not come on. The light in the dash lights and then immediately goes out, as if it is 80* outside.
My question is, when you plug in the block heater, does this also activate the grid heater? Or, does the block heater do such a magnificent job, that the grid heater is not needed?
Not a dilemma, just curios. Jess
