Block numbers

Anyone know why a block wouldn't have any numbers on either side of the front?

Do you mean like the old " 53 " series did? Not all plants stamp the block in the same place or on the same way. Why do you ask? Shadrach

Yes, I was checking to make sure it didn't have a "53" block before I bought it. BUt couldn't find any numbers where the series numbers usually are. The newer one next to it, had a "56" on it, but this one had nothing.
