I found the harness connector to the motor went bad on mine. Also the resistor connector had a corroded wire and the resistor itself was cracked. FCA sells two kits: one to fix the blower motor connectors with a bit of the harness that corrodes up by the motor and a complete HVAC harness.
IMO FCA has the highest quality blower motor where parts stores are selling the cheapest garbage they can get. For example the $25.00 parts store knock off motor I put in my GM truck doesn't have the twist in the armature the Delco part does and as a result is nosier and "ticks" at low speed.
They're just your basic electric motor which usually has two fabric sponges holding oil for the outer bushings. Simply take the fan off, take the motor apart, and re-oil the sponges and bushings. It'll be happy for another 15 years.
