Blue Chip Redline Fueling Box

Blue Chip Diesel Performance is pleased to announce the immediate availability of it’s latest patented performance enhancement product, the Blue Chip Redline Fueling Box.

The Redline is specifically designed for OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. As such, it extends fueling to the absolute maximum available from the VP-44 pump throughout the operating RPM range. NO MORE ECM DEFUELING!!!

Additionally, the Redline, as it’s name signifies, extends the maximum RPM from the factory ECM-limited 3200 to a mind-blowing, pull-extending, ET reducing 4000 RPM !!!

In addition to providing extreme fueling and RPM capabilities, the Redline also supports features from the Blue Chip FMS, including EGT and Boost pressure monitoring. It records the maximum values of EGT, Boost, RPM, and fueling during your runs. MAP and thermocouple connections are compatible with previous FMS installations.

Whether you’re into Truck Pulling, Drag Racing, or Dyno Competition, the Blue Chip Redline can give you what you’ve been looking for - a way to break the RPM barrier!

Manufacturer’s List Price *****.

Call Chip at 1-888-6BT-PERF (1-888-628-7373) for more details. Please be patient, the phone lines might be busy!

A waiver of liability will be required as a condition of sale.

Chip,

Does this box provide full fuel above 3200 all the way to 4000? If this is the case do you have any dyno charts showing the HP/TQ curves with this box? Right now you certainly have my attention... ...

Doug

Heck, and I thought te TST comp box was a VP killer!!

Is there any way to provide aux bypass solenoid cooling when using this box? SOUNDS LIKE IT NEEDS IT!

How does extending the RPM range effect other components of the engine? In other words... if you get this box, do you HAVE to worry about upgrading other engine parts to keep up with the new 4000 RPM redline? Or is this simply a plug-and-play box?

BTW... I LOVE my Blue Chip FMS. Any incentive for me to swap to the new box? :D

Dave

4000 rpm!keep talkin you have my full attention. Give us all the data you can. This is what the 24 valve crowd has been waiting for. Good work guys.

Kurt

As with any performance enhancement, the other components of the vehicle must be considered as well. Just as a transmission upgrade is recommended when going beyond 30% on an FMS, there are other considerations when going beyond 3200 RPM. This is a new frontier and I'm sure we will learn a lot of lessons along the way. Stiffer valve springs would be one thing to consider - there may be others.

As for timing, the Redline does not control timing. If you want more than stock advance, you should use a timing box in conjunction with it. But if you've already done everything to get to this point, you probably already have a timing box.

Is it contained in the same type of unit as the FMS? Can you post a picture of it?

Does it have the capability to "control" how high of RpM you run, say you only wanna goto 3200rpm... ... ... can you set it for that, and then change it when you have the proper supporting modifications to hit 4000rpm??? Personally I wouldn't wanna run 4000rpm on the stock springs... ... .....

The Redline is similar to the FMS package (box, buttons, display) but has a distinctive red front panel design. No pics yet.

The RPM limit is fixed. Of course, actual RPM is also determined by transmission gear and your right foot! There is adjustable fueling which can be used to reduce engine output.

Who is only getting a readline of 3200 RPM now?? I get more than that but am very interested in 4k. If you can crack the "code" to make more rpm's why didn't ya put some radical timing in to match? Just curious. I really hope you have a big supply of these boxes to match the interest it is bound to get.

Craig

P. S. Note to self get a BUNCH of used vp's for testing... . :D

Sweet Chip! I still need to unplug my box and send it in to you to get fixed. Mine was the one the power spike killed the boost reading and its showing boost at idle. As soon as I can find an hour or two to unplug it I will send it in!

As for the Redline, it sounds awesome. Good luck with it!

Look out 12 valve guys I got my redline installed yesterday and went pulling it is great its like having a completly different truck. I also will be doing some dyno test before shieds but I already know it fuels hard to 4,000 rpms.

I dont know how big the waiting list is but it may be some time before chip gets all the orders filled they are going like hotcakes! After having it on my truck I would say every 24 valve truck puller needs one.

So how many more rpm's do you carry down the track with this box? 100,200 hundred ?? Surely you are not seeing 4k going down the track?
