I would like to say thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. I ordered everything today for the ETH. Parts include DD2's, an EZ, 4" Jardine Exhaust, a 16cm housing, an open K/N, and guages. I also need to order an exhaust part from Cummins for the housing. The clutch will get replaced in a month or so.

Where are you guys tapping the exhaust for the EGT probe? Where are you tapping for the boost? Thanks for the help... CJ

The pyro is installed in the exhaust manifold, either front or rear casting in front of the turbo flange. Drill into the center of hump ( front or rear as the manifold is split ) if you do a search you can find many threads describing different methods of drilling and tapping / some with pictures and others just good detailed step by steps.
You keep this up and you will out perform the PSD.

CJ, I just want to know what is taking you so long to bomb? LMAO, I would bet that there are only a few that have ever bombed so much so early in the trucks life. Good luck with your new Dodge.

LSMITH,
There is nothing worse than a stock diesel. I BOMBED the PSD with less than 1K miles. NOTHING has ever broke. I turned 75K miles on it today. If it can take it, I am pretty sure this inline can handle it. . CJ

CJ, here's a pic. off of the TST site form proper EGT. probe placement. I went with the test port right behind the fuel filter bracket for the boost source (3/4" plug 1/2" drive). Other members have simply removed the intake horn and tapped same, reporting very stable readings. I figured I'd try the easy approach first and have no regrets with the install. You will need a 3/4" to 1/8 npt adapter if you go this route and make sure you take the truck out for a ride before you attempt to remove the boost plug, it should help to remove the plug while the engine is warm.

Slipping over to the dark side, huh CJ #ad
?

EGT probe is a piece of cake. Make sure you pull the plug for the boost that is lined up with the back of your fuel filter cannister. If you get the plug on the very back of the engine, green stuff will run out

. That's a 3/4 NPT on the boost port. You'll probably have to adapt down to 1/8 NPT. It's getting darrrrrkerrrrr.
