I'm really enjoying using my PacBrake now that I got it unstuck. I haven't towed with it yet, but my favorite trick so far is to cruise around town in 3rd gear without having to hit the service brakes unless there is a red light.
When I had the Pac apart I saw the hole in the butterfly that prevents backpressure from getting too high, and I am wondering if there would be a way to put a 60psi valve in that hole to maximize low RPM pressure and braking. I don't have the old TDR mags in front of me, but I seem to recall an ad in one of the recent ones that compared a Pac to a different brand, and the other brand claimed that it was better at low RPM since it didn't have a hole. Well, how do they manage the high RPM pressure? I'll try to find the ad and report back to this thread, but no promises on actually finding it.
