Bombing the pitman arm?

At the Muncie show, the owner of Jardine exhaust had an stock 2001 4x4 with a replacement pitman arm. He used a skyjacker 2. 5 inch or 3 inch (he couldn't remember). He said it greatly improved the steering.



Has anyone else tried this mod?

I would assume this would apply to the '96 I have as well. I'm always interested in something that may improve the front end suspension/steering of the truck.
