Help, my boost gauge(Westach)started reading only 10lbs Psi WOT. Previously it was 26# at WOT. (I don't know how long its been low because I rarely look at the reading, and the truck was running fine with no noticable loss of power)
I have already done the following at the suggestion of our diesel mechanic with no luck:
Checked all the turbo hoses; ran the truck briefly without the hose over the intake of the Turbo to check for clogged filter; tightened all the clamps; checked for water in fuel; checked for pinching of turbo gauge hose from the gauge to the threaded 1/8"NPT in the head behind fuel filter.
I ran out of fuel and it died last week, but it ran fine after filling up, but I haven't changed my fuel filter.
EGT's at WOT are about the same as when it showed 26#PSI.
