On my truck ( see sig) I have a Diesel Dynamics TTPM box. It came with two different boost "elbows" for the wastgate. One was for the soft line type and the other is for the hard line that I have on my truck for the line between the turbo and the wastegate actuator.
Has anyone installed the kind for the hard line plumbing. It look like from the directions that you had to remove and drill the line and then slide in the "elbow" ( restriction) in the line.
Is it worth it? My concern is if I have to go to the dealer and remove the box, that I'll set over boost codes as the box will not be there as the boost fooler. Right? Also if they look close and see the hole or remove the hard line and see the "elbow" i would be outta luck.
Is this worth it to make the box/engine run for effiecent with the extra fuel from the box? Is there any other easier way to accomplise the same thing?
Thanks for any help/comments/experiences good or bad.
