boost gauge flutters

Hi. From my experience with a boost gauge(autometer) on my PSD why does it flutter so much?Doesnt seen to do it much below 10psi but accelerate above that and it flutters a bunch. I used the boost bolt and put into the first(front) intake hole that the instructions told me to. Does it do it all the time or do I need to use on the the bolts in the back of the intake?My autometer never fluttered at all in 4 yrs on the PSD(not the same gauge).

This was discussed a couple of days ago here. More like a rattle than flutter but looks like the issuses are the same.

I haven't seen one but the way mine bounces I would consider buying it

no mine doesnt rattle at all,quiet as can be but above 10 psi it flutters,like the boost signal isnt consistant. I will try that damper they wer talking of and see if that does anything. My PSD hit 32 psi boost and in that range never fluttered at all,even when cold. What spot is everyone else tapped into that are getting the flutter?

Toothpick inside air line does the trick. Just make sure it won't fall into engine, and that it's not too airtight.
