my boost psi at stock was no more than 21 at stock i put an edge ez and my psi was about 30 then i put a new lift pump on and now it is no more than 27 does the lift pump putting out more than double the fuel psi now make a difference or could it be the cold weather making the difference or could it be the gauge? thanks

i have say the cold. . on a cold day 23-30 i can boost 50psi. 70-80 only 45psi my truck stock 16psi. with EZ 26psi with EZ and DD2 32psi. with stock HY-35 turbo

I wouldn't think that the extra fuel psi. would cause a boost loss. I recently put in a new lift pump, and at the same time upgraded to a Wildcat Max Flow system. So my VP44 is seeing something completely different than stock, more psi AND more flow. When I did the upgrade and pump swap I actually gained 1 psi of boost.

So, I wouldn't think the new LP would cause the loss. There is a point to where the VP44 can recieve too much pressure, but not with the OEM lift pump.
