I have heard of a company producing idle boxes that will increase the idle speed. What I need is a box that will decrease the idle speed. I have moved the stop and got no change. I thought about a resistor on the TPS, but the Cummins guy said the ECM would overide. I'm not sure how, but he ought to know better than me. My hay throwers have to almost jog beside the truck in order to keep up. Needless to say they want the truck slower! I wish I had 4x4 capabilities so I could put it in 4 low. The truck idles about 780 RPM which is supposed to be normal. Too bad they don't put the programmable ECM in these trucks like they do in the big trucks. Anybody have any suggestions on how to slow the idle down?
