2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake & ABS Lights

My warning lights for Brake & ABS are on. No codes are coming up. Brakes seem to work fine. This happened once before and I disconnected the batteries and this turned the lights off. That did not work this time.

I just thought to check first here before I take it in for service.

have the same problem after installing my dynatrac hubs. . my abs dont get signal and i know the abs things at the wheels work they are new but maby have a distance issue. . on the other hand i didt like abs on my truck so i made a dummy light that will light up when i turn key on and after some sec will get dark. . it foold the people who tests our car once a year here in finland. so i will keep it that way. .

if you want to fix it go get a star scanner and look at it, it will show you which dodnt get a signal or gets a signal (my smarty didnt get anthing on it)

under the hood in the fuse panel there is large green fuse that controls the ABS, see if it's open.

Unplug the switch in the porportion block. If the lights go out you, thenyou may have a bad Master Cylinder. I took my switch out and recentered the groove, then pressed on the pedal - groved moved off center again (internal leak). Then I Jack up the rear, spun the tires by hand, wife pressed the pedal... yup no rear brakes. This was done after I changed out the speed sensor on the rear & ABS controller.
