Brake controller location

Hello all, I am trying to figure out where to mount my brake controller. Anybody with pics of theirs? Thanks, John

Mine is a little to the left of the above picture. You want to keep it easy to reach in case you want to use trailer brakes only with the slide switch.

On my 96 I put the brake controller in the upper (headliner) console cubby hole where most people place their sunglasses. I figure if Im in trouble my eyes need to stay on the road ahead.



I have an 03 now and was looking at the possibility of putting the brake controller in the cubby hole in the dash under the heater controls? But its also a 6 speed so what is a guy to do?



What are your thoughts on that location?
