Brake pads

Need some advice, what's a good upgrade for the stock OEM brake pads??, and where do you purchase them??

Sam Pederson I think is the name. Have to dig through my records for his number. I hear his Carbomet pads are outrageous.

After reading the South Bend Clutch article in the latest tdr mag where Andy comments on the clutch damage that can be caused by downshifting and exhaust brakes and how brakes are cheaper to rebuild than clutches has changed my opinion of exhaust brakes. Andy knows clutches like Sam knows his brakes, thier advice shouldn't be taken lightly.

You might want to try the Wagner Severe Duty pads. So Far they have outlasted Performance Friction Carbon Metallic, Raybestos extreme duty and Carbomet. They have outlasted all the pads I have tried.
