2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake question

I just had a new hydrabooster installed by a local shop because my old one was leaking pretty bad. Everything was fine for about a week but now when I step on the brakes at slow speeds it feels like they lock up and then let go. Also i noticed when I hit the acclerator from a dead stop it feels like the brakes are staying hung up momentarily and then the truck lurches forward. And finally sometimes when I hit the brakes or turn it sounds like a almost gurgling sound is coming from under the hood. I know the booster runs of the powersteering pump, could this be the cause of my probems. Any help would be great. Thanks Rob
