Mine shows up every now and then after going over a bad bumpy road due to the E-brake pedal slightly moving towards the floor causing the light to come on. I just stick my foot under the pedal and pull it back to its normal position. It doesn't happen that much so when I see my light, I panick. Then I remember about the pedal and that has always been the case.
One other time my Brake light and ABS light stayed on all the time. I checked wires and fluid and all was fine. I found on the posts here to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and then reconnect it back up. This resets the computer and sure enough, lights have stayed off since.
