How many hours did it take you to install the PacBrake? I don't know what you mean when you say about an elbow on the back of the turbo since I don't know beans about the installation. Can I download installation instructions for the PacBrake?
On the back of your stock turbo is a cast elbow. If you buy the turbo mount pacbrake it replaces that. You can also go inline, that's your choice. If you are staying with a stock, or single turbo the inline is a bit easier to install since you won't need to do any welding.

You then need to mount the compressor, small air tank, switch and run the appropriate wires. I would think an average mechanic could do it in 3-4 hours depending on how much of a hurry you were in.
I bet they would email you instructions if you wanted to see them.
