If you check Brakesmart's website today, it refers all questions regarding the Brakesmart controller to 877-338-7373 which just happens to Google to - Dr. Performance.

Yea but even though the price went up $85. 00 from what I paid it's still worth it IMHO. Mine has worked flawlesly for over a year. No surge, smooth braking everytime in all conditions & I've never had to adjust it. Set it & forget it.

That's good news. Thanks for providing that info RustyJC. I already own one and can't praise it enough but am glad that the units are back in production and available for others.



If you are struggling with the decision whether to spend a significant amount of money for a BrakeSmart controller please take my word for it . . . it is the absolute best trailer brake product ever offered. Once you try one you will be glad you spent the extra money.

Now I've got some thinking to do... Do I keep my prodigy which has given me NO problems. Crud I adjusted it once and have not touched it since. Or upgrade to the brakesmart which I wanted in the first place... At this point I think I'll stay put 5k towing miles and no issues...
