I bought a set of Brembo cross drilled rotors form www.performanceproducts.com and installed them about 2 weeks ago. I went with Carquest premium pads and lubricated EVERYTHING with antisieze. They squeak pretty bad occasionally but braking is amazing, and I have no brake dust. It used to be that the rear drum brakes lock up before the fronts and now there is no lockup and it stops on a dime. The rotors cost me $230 when shipping was over with and the pads were $37. I am very satisfied other the the squeal. I am going to rip the breaks apart soon and see what I can do to stop the squeal. I'll keep you posted.

I have a pair of Brembo rotors on order. Hawk pads, too. I'd love to hear some good news about how they are performing!

Hot Rod,

The antiseize will eventually wear off or wear thin.

Permatex makes some spray "goo" in a can. I cant remeber what it is called. But it works damn good. It provides lubrication and keeps things "together" so there is no noise. It is my understanding that the "gaps" cause the noise. This stuff remedies that. You just spray it on the back of your pads and on the contact surfacaces of the piston and caliper.

It is raining out or I would go out and look at the can. If I get a break in the rain I will post a picture of the can.

Check the pictures in my readers rigs gallery. It is the blue stuff on the pads. Messy... . But it works. I tried everything (including antiseize). This was the only thing that worked for me.

No noise.....
