Brite Box with DRL...Have Solution
Has anyone solved the problem with the lights staying on when running the brite box with daytime running lights? I've come up with a couple ways to turn them off when the problem occurs but it is getting pretty old to have to get out and check to see if the lights are off before walking away from the truck.
Thanks
I talked to Joel at Baker Auto... he faxed me the fix for the Brite Box with DRL...
Unplug DRL Harness
Cut the Red/Orange Wire on Pin 6 (High Beam Out) and splice the harness end to the Red/Grey Wire on Pin 3 (High Beam Indicator)
Cut the Violet/White Wire on Pin 10 (Low Beam In) and connect the harness end to the Plug end of the Red/Orange on Pin 6.
Cap off the Violet/White wire on the plug end of pin 10
