JR, sorry for your loss. I know the feeling well after losing 4 Shepherds. I am literally a basket case after the passing's. I was sure I would not have another as it just tears me up to bad. As the story goes the Daughter wanted a dog of her own and the search started. Had a real tough time trying to find one at a reasonable price and quality in the Phoenix area which was weird because the other 4 all came from around here. Found a couple in Vegas with some pups so the long trek began. Returned home with Roxy. The Daughter started raising the young one and I paid a little attention to her but did not want to get to close for fear of what happened before. The Daughter decides she is marrying a guy she went to school with and is stationed at Minot AFB. And now the curtain falls as I am asked if I would watch over Roxy for a while because they cannot have dogs where they will be living. That was 4 years ago and what I feared has come true and we are pretty attached now.
