I broke the KSB Housing for the cold start timing advance device. I have been resealing the Bosch VE pump on my brothers 93 12V. When I installed the electrical solenoid KSB, the housing cracked open. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I have scoured the inter web and can not find them anywhere. I can’t even find them on any parts lists? The number on the housing is 1 465 132 585. I’m hoping one of y’all gurus can help me out here. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

You dont have a VE Pump*, you have a P7100 Pump.
Might that help to search for the part, and should be available from a Bosch Dealer.

Verteiler Einspritz Pumpe = Rotary Injection Pump

That picture is most definitely of a KSB housing from a VE injection pump.

The P7100 was installed on Dodge trucks starting 1994.

darrollr - I'll see if I have a KSB housing in the first gen parts bin this weekend.

Gosh, I did not know that they had VE Pumps previously to the P Pumps.

Maybe I just shouldn't post anymore here.
I find every trap door.

Ofelas,
Any luck finding a KSB Housing?

Not yet, just a couple spare injection pumps. I do remember a boxful of takeoff parts form various injection pumps laying around though.

I can barely pronounce Verteiler Einspritz; I try to learn a new word every month or so, but the wife tells me I forget most of what she says :)

As an option, Can they be deleted if no spare parts are available? My 4BT runs a VE pump and does not have one.

Yes, it is more for emissions than anything. The engine in my Ford (CPL 856) has it, a friend of mine has a CPL 600, it don't.
