HELP! The previous owner of my truck tought it only need on exhaust hanger all the way at the tail pipe. To make a long story short the head pipe broke off right at the flange. I would like to find A new head pipe or possibly a exhaust up grade turbo back.

thanks.

I think peirs has new downpipes.

I have broken two flanges off of down pipes over the years. Everytime it has happened I found the hanger on the down pipe had came loose. On time the nut came off the other time the bolt had broken. That flange can't support the weight of the exhaust system.

You have a D series so stepping up to a bigger system will not be a problem like my $X$ is.

My 4" system came in this last tuesday. The down pipe flange is a very well made piece. It is about three times as heavy as the light weight stocker our down pipes came with. I'll get around in the next week or so and put my system on. If weather allows.

I'll have my stocker off in a week or so. If your interested let me know and we can work something out. It is in good shape and I am not going to molest it getting it off. The rest of the system gets a sawsall used on it.

If you don't mind me asking how much was it and where did you get it. I seen the pic. you posted of the flange on the new 4" I was impressed.

thanks Jamie
