So Cal Event!!!- DECEMBER 13 BBQ-RALLY

We're planning another dyno day at Brown's Valley RV & Performance (one hour north of Sacramento)... we were thinking weekend of 22 & 23 (weekend before Thanksgving) or 29 & 30 (weekend after). Most likely the 29 & 30... . Looking for some input.....

As usual there is on site camping... possibly live band, food, drinks, and if it's raining by then a huge bon fire.....

We may push it off until the first weekend of December. Either way everyone will have plenty of notice. Will have a firm date set by the middle of the week.

Bill. . I'll be there to support ya... unless something happens with the family issues in Visalia ... [95 YO MIL broke hip this past weekend and went to sugery for replacement. . getting very feeble nowdays].

DATE SET

Okay guys, the date has been set... December 6-7. This date seems to work best for everyone and is far enough away from Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Great, I'm planning on being in Vegas for Thanksgiving. I'll hit your dyno day on my way home.

Looking forward to meeting a bunch more TDR'rs from the area.

Gary, how's your MIL? Doing better I hope. Think you can make this one? Jeff

Can anyone give me a street address or directions to Browns Valley RV?

I found Browns Valley on the map, I'll probably be coming in from the east on highway 20. Thanks, Jeff

who is that masked man... Jeff I have it marked on the calendar . . only time will tell, MIL in Re-Hab hospital. . up and down in recovery right now, some days are good and others... are well others

e-mail Bill [Kickin YK ] for accurate instructions as he lives right there

Jeff and all, the address is 5003 Highway 20. It's pretty easy to find... practically the only business out there. Coming from the east (Grass Valley/Penn Valley) direction is about 20 miles west of Grass Valley. You will cross the Yuba River, continue on, pass the Unocal 76 station... start looking for the only cell phone tower out there. BVRV is on the north side of the highway directly across from the cell tower (explain why nobodys cell phones work there:rolleyes: )

From the west is about 12 miles east of Marysville. Again, look for the cell phone tower. The buildings are actually kind of tucked away in the hillside and trees, look for lots of trailers, and RVs. There is a Chevron Quick Lube sign out by the highway.

Hope to see you all there.

Good question???? Maybe we can all meet somewhere in like Marysville or Yuba City for breakfast... cuz there ain't nuttin in Browns Valley except for a gas station and bar... don't know if the bar is even open anymore:eek: Someday soon there will be a ton of restaurants and a flippin walmart though:mad: :{

Sounds good to me, now all we need is someone to scout out the territory and let us know where/when. I've blocked out that Sat. (for now)

Actually MV - YC is a good choke point for everyone, unless you are coming from Grass Valley

I must agree, nobody important:cool:

Never tried the Eagle's NEst, but it's always full when I drive by, that's a sign of good food. As for Denny's, twice I've eaten there and had the WORST service ever:mad:

Will be there!!!

Never met a TRD member before, we are looking forward to being there. Had breakfast at the Eagles Nest years ago lots of parking across the street. Mel
