Competition Are there any 2wd pulling classes?

i was just curious if anyone went to the Buck Motorsports park in Lancaster, PA for the diesel pickup event last night? I know they had pulling, drag race in the dirt, and tug of war. I went last year and had a good time. Last year an Antrim diesel truck won the drag race, and a cummins pulled the farthest in the truck pull. That tug of war event was won by weight alone by a Ford.

I am kicking myself for not going this year. Did Shawn Liberator show up with one of his trucks?

I was up and LIberator had one truck there and it was his power stroke. Not sure what he finished in the truck pull, but a 06 dully cummins won the tug o war and in the drag racein a power stroke won BUT EVERYONE EXCEPT THE FLAGERS could clearly see that the cummins had him!!! I could not beleive they gave the win to that guy!! SO the sled pull was won by the same power stroke! There was a second gen dully that didnt get to pull at the end and let me tell u if he would have the power smoker wouldnt of had a chance! Dont know what happend to him but man did that thing RUN, he won his segment of the sled pull but was out in the final! IN the mod class a guy over on DTR with the screen name RAMpage won that buy a long shot!! But all in all it was a good turn out!!

the 12v daully you talk about had a linkage problem ar the p-pump, he got it fixed but they would'nt let him return. i agree with you i think he would have won the deal. had to love the way it smoked... ... ... ... ... ...

Man did that thing smoke like a freight train.....

There is a bunch of us in eastern PA that would love to come down to the Buck (includeing Bruce Balish ) in one of the best running Fords (prostreet class) in the country. But they have treated us so poorly in the past that if anyone of us seen the place on fire not a one of us would pee on it to put the fire out. I hate talking about organzations on the net but these people are rude and do not understand that the pullers make the show.

Well i was there and I came down with the powerstroke that won the sled pull. I have got to say the buck is a joke. We brought 6 trucks down to pull 2 dodges, 2 fords, and 2 fords with cummins implants. The one ford was able to pull and he won. Our 2 dodges they looked at our turbos and said no way in heck are you going to pull with aftermarket turbos they said the same thing about our one ford. And the other ford with the cummins in it they wouldnt let pull because it was a cummins in a ford. I mean come on it was a stock cummins engine. Then our last truck was the white ford "pro stock class"with the cummins in it an he had some mechanical problems with the front axle. So what i am saying is if you ever plan on pulling at the buck make sure you have a stock turbo or they wont let you pull in the street class even though we drove them over 100 miles there.

Thomas,

It ranks right up there with the grange, simply rediculious. And yea Carson won. Are you coming down to the beaver fair they are having a street trucks pull on monday the 18th at 7, and tuesday the 19th their is a pull in gratz.

Supposely I hear they are going to have another class next year "Super Street" or something like that so us guys have a class that dont fit in the "Street" class or the "Pro Mod" I guess will see, if they dont change something and let more of us compete, the specators will just have to enjoy there chipped farm trucks for the show
