Budget Turbo for N20?

Hey guys. I am up alittle I need to update my sig. I'm at 340RWHP on #2 and 390RWHP on a small shot of spray.



I don't want to step up the spray because it kill my Hx-40 and I will save it for my f-450 that I am repowering.



What are my option's in the $800. 00 range? I can Deal with lag but I want to be able to use a good dose of N20

That price doesn't leave much room to work... . used turbos are risky but the classifieds are a good place to start.

Not much $$$ to play with there. The last 2 turbos I have gotten, the score is 1 out of 2, for a good one (both used) out of the box. The last one I got (HTT 64/14) is on its way to HTT for a rebuild and turbine housing change.

Yep, Not much $ to play with but that will force you to get creative! What about a turbo off of some thing else? Should be able to a S300 for around that right?



I am trying to get with not spending $1800. 00 for a turbo so that I can spend that money in other area's.

HTT has a S300G for $900. www.htturbo.com Give them a jingle.

There is also another place, cant think of the name right now. . but they do GMC syclone work and other stuff. They sell S300G's for like 850$ shipped, I believe.

we are talking modded 300's right? a stock 300 is not a direct bolt up from what i understand if that is what you are looking for i think they can be had for 760+ but that is for a stock one

Find a decent used H2E with a 17 or 19cm exh. Ought to find one for $600 tops, and it should stand up to nitrous. Good turbo for the money. It will spool slower than your HX40, but not too awful.

71mm compressor, HY9 back end. I welded the wastegate shut so you could put a little more speed on the compressor wheel. If your careful you could probably rev it up and it wouldn't surge on ya.

I found a brandy new S-400 on the for sale forum on another site, paid $570 for it, it was never used.

There's a B1 steroid on there now asking price is $1000 though... ...
