2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Build Sheets

I have been calling a couple of the dealers here in town and they will not give out the build sheets of any vehicle. Apparently DC says the information is for thier eyes only and they put big warnings on the print outs that read like the FBI warning on videos. I was just wondering if this was just a canadian thing or everywhere else is the same since i know i have seen you guys talk about getting them.

That is standard practice but some will bend,the big issue is if it has been sold it will show owners info too... ... ... . privacy.

Sounds like a jerk dealer thing to me.



If privacy is an issue, I imagine even a half-intelligent dealer could use scissors and trim away the "sensitive" information.



The window sticker on my sold-in-the-USA Ram has all of the OEM equipment details and was in "public view" prior to the time I removed it.

Nonsense!!! I emailed Dodge and got my build sheet from them. Try emailing your request to this address:

Just request a build sheet on your specific truck. It may take a couple of day but they will email you a copy.
