ob1kobi said:Well after wasting my time reading yet another worthless post by Comp, I yet again will ask the same question that I have asked before, Why do you feel the need to fight any and all battles for Scott? Scott is more than capable of taking care of issues like this himself. Although I am sure he likes his little puppy dog chasing him around and kissing his butt all the time. GOD I can't wait for Keating to shut your mouth.
COMP461 said:doesn’t seem like its going to happen any time soon.
COMP461 said:Does it really disturb you that much that someone not from the perceived diesel nobility has taken the record , and the lime light. Look to the 3 magazines coming out in the next few months. one is a cover item . I’ve learned from Edge , nothing about diesels , but a lot about marketing principals .
COMP461 said:I am very positive that Jerry Bickel Racecraft is not really that covered up, he might even consider build you a new chassis, just send him a check. and maybe them you might show everyone what you espouse , that anyone could achieve what I have, if only they had a truck like mine.
COMP461 said:The facts are no one has yet , close , but not yet. And before some one brings up weight , weight reduction is a part of any unlimited performance category. The ability to get lite is not a secret. So If your ride is over weight , do something about it. Edge and Scheids both started with a clean sheet of paper. Both could have started with some really neat rides for the money spent , but please 2800 lbs for a dragster ,and 3900 lbs for a Bickel Truck. Scott and Dustin’s car is 2200 lbs and has a lot of room for weight reduction. .
COMP461 said:Really I give credit where credit is due. Keating and their truck will go faster , and they do make great power . I can’t wait to have something other then a gasser on the other side of the tree. Because I will not let a little thing like the possibility of getting out run make me tuck my tail and run like a little scared kitty cat from a drag race
sbentz said:I am waiting for someone to ask about the "orange" light he cut in Dallas... . :-laf "
sbentz said:Hey, without Greg around, who would you pick on?
sbentz said:Yes, I am more than capable of fighting my battles. I just pick them wisely. And quietly. And fight them direct.
"never forget where you buried the hatchet, it may come in handy... . "
ob1kobi said:Your right, he can't beat you if your not running. .
doesn’t seem like they are from the on track performance.ob1kobi said:No, The percieved diesel nobility, as you call it, is just that, perceived, many would argue that Banks is actually on top. I don't agree with that, but I do agree that Edge is much closer to the top than you or the Doctor will ever be. .
ob1kobi said:If I could write a check that wouldn't bounce I definately would and so would many other and yes I do think there are people around, that if given the same opportunities as you, would beat you. Funny that you tell us we need to write a check to Jerry in order to run with you, did you write your check to Jerry?
.
ob1kobi said:No but the rumor that you may get a harder tech inspection, or because you think somebody else is getting paid to show up will make you tuck tail and run, you've proven that already.
ob1kobi said:There is a "Greg" in every crowd, if it wasn't him, somebody else would step up.
I believe thats called professionalism, you have it Scott, Greg doesn't. I guess thats the point I was trying to make. I appreciate what your doing for the sport.
COMP461 said:when they get closer ,to what I have run in testing , and I finish with my R&D program I will give them a shot. .
COMP461 said:doesn’t seem like they are from the on track performance.
COMP461 said:I have as a program manager, and driver bought and signed the check for ,a Bickel car , a Spitzer roadster , a Ness car and a Bos Chassis craft dragster. .
COMP461 said:why would I go to a DHRA race after several substantial rumors when NHRDA was more then happy to ask me to come up there. And I would have been there if a 53 block had not split. Safety was more important then a race , its not like popping a motor in a 5500 lbs truck with a normal weight bias , with a good percent of weight on the front tires if you put any fluid on the track its is most times an unrecoverable event.
